The most important skills I have learned from Diigo are highlighting and group annotating. This serves as an efficient way of doing group work in the classroom. Students are able to make annotations to articles as they go and read each other's comments. This is also a great tool for individual work. Whether it be research for a project or studying an article, using the highlight tool is effective for pointing out the most important parts.

PowerPoint is popular in education as most of us have learned through slideshows over the years. For Assignment 4 I created an interactive presentation for the 6 Questions. Applying Bloom's Taxonomy, Synthesis and Analysis are applied on each slide when explaining how to use each word as a question. Application of knowledge is used towards the end of the presentation activities by asking students to use the words in sentences. Evaluation is applied when students work together and are able to see the activity from various perspectives. Comprehension and Knowledge are applied when students are able to explain their understanding of the material.

Technology and professional development.
Technology has carried a negative image in today's education system. However, technology has also proven to be a necessary study tool for students. Technology makes lessons, articles, and assignments organized and easy to navigate. Regardless of your stance on technology, it would be unprofessional for educators to deprive students of common changes around us.
